Rewards Payout Policy

Pre-Launch Phase: Accelerated Payouts

Rewards may be paid before shipment

During our pre-launch phase, qualifying purchases can earn rewards that are paid before your order ships. This is possible because all pre-launch purchases are final sale with no return window.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for reward payouts, the following conditions must be met:

  • Paid Order: The purchase must be successfully processed and payment received
  • Fraud Check: Order must pass our fraud detection screening
  • KYC Verification: Purchaser must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) identity verification if required
  • Account Standing: Both the purchaser and referring member must be in good standing

Payout Timeline

Once all eligibility requirements are met, rewards are queued for payout before shipment. Our typical payout schedule is:

  • Payouts are processed weekly
  • Eligible rewards are included in the next scheduled payout cycle
  • You will receive email notification when a payout is processed
  • Processing time may vary depending on your selected payout method

Clawbacks & Adjustments

In the following situations, rewards may be subject to clawback or adjustment:

  • Fraudulent Transactions: If an order is determined to be fraudulent, all associated rewards will be reversed
  • Voided Transactions: If a transaction is voided or reversed (e.g., chargeback), rewards will be clawed back
  • Policy Violations: Violations of our Marketing Code or Terms of Service may result in forfeiture of rewards
  • Account Closure: Closing your account may affect pending reward payments

Rewards Payout Structure

The Scentwork Rewards Program allows you to earn rewards based on qualifying purchases made through your unique marketing codes and referral links. Rewards are generated only from verified product sales — never from recruitment, sign-ups, or any other form of participant activity.

Structure Overview

Each participant is designated as Level 0 in their own rewards network. Rewards are paid on qualifying product sales generated through up to five (5) levels of linked referrals, where each level represents a chain of customer purchases originating from your unique marketing code.

  • Level 0: You (the referring participant).
  • Level 1: Customers who make qualifying purchases using your direct referral link or code.
  • Level 2: Customers referred by your Level 1 participants.
  • Levels 3–5: Customers referred indirectly through subsequent levels of verified referral links.

Payout Percentages

For each qualifying product sale, commissions are allocated as follows:

Payment Conditions

  • Qualifying Purchases: Rewards are earned only for completed, paid, and verified transactions that pass fraud, compliance, and KYC checks.
  • Approval Window: All transactions are subject to a 48-hour approval window before rewards are marked as "pending."
  • No Recruitment Bonuses: Rewards are paid solely on product sales, not for referring, enrolling, or recruiting others.
  • Transparency: Eligible transactions and payout details are visible in your account dashboard.
  • Limitations: Rewards may be withheld, adjusted, or forfeited for chargebacks, cancellations, fraud, or violations of the Marketing Code of Conduct.

Payout Schedule

Approved rewards are distributed in accordance with the Payouts Policy, which specifies payout frequency, methods, and minimum thresholds. Payment timing may vary by jurisdiction and payment processor.

Compliance Assurance

  • This rewards structure complies with U.S. federal and state anti-pyramid and consumer protection laws.
  • Rewards are sales-based only, derived solely from genuine retail transactions.
  • There are no rank qualifications, inventory purchase requirements, or recruitment incentives.
  • Scentwork reserves the right to modify payout levels or percentages to ensure continued compliance with applicable law or regulatory guidance.

Payout Methods

We offer the following payout methods:

  • Direct deposit (ACH) — Fastest option, typically 2-3 business days
  • Check — Mailed to your address on file, allow 7-10 business days
  • PayPal — Typically 1-2 business days (fees may apply)

You can update your payout method in your dashboard settings.

Tax Reporting

Scentwork is required to report reward payments to tax authorities. You will receive appropriate tax documentation (such as Form 1099) if your annual rewards exceed the IRS reporting threshold. Please consult with a tax professional regarding your specific tax obligations.
