Scentwork Marketing Code

The Scentwork Marketing Code establishes ethical guidelines for all members participating in our rewards program. By sharing Scentwork products and building your network, you agree to uphold these standards.

Sales-Only Rewards Model

Scentwork rewards are based exclusively on product sales. Our model is simple and transparent:

  • No ranks or titles: There are no qualification levels or hierarchical positions
  • No inventory requirements: You never need to purchase or maintain inventory
  • No autoship obligations: No recurring purchase requirements to earn rewards
  • No recruitment bonuses: Rewards come only from actual product sales, not from signing up new members

First-Touch Attribution

Scentwork uses permanent first-touch attribution:

  • Permanent credit: When someone uses your referral link or QR code to sign up, you receive permanent credit for their purchases
  • Fair attribution: The first person to share Scentwork with a customer receives ongoing credit
  • No switching: Attribution cannot be changed or transferred once established
  • Transparent tracking: All attribution is tracked and visible in your dashboard

No Income or Health Claims

Prohibited Claims

Members must NOT make:

  • Income claims: Do not promise, suggest, or imply specific income amounts or earning potential
  • Lifestyle claims: Do not showcase luxury items, cars, homes, or vacations as representations of earnings
  • Health claims: Do not make medical, therapeutic, or health-related claims about our products
  • Cure claims: Do not suggest products can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition

Example of acceptable sharing: "I love this fragrance and I earn rewards when people purchase through my link."

Examples of prohibited claims: "You can earn $5,000/month!" or "This scent relieves stress and anxiety."

Honest & Ethical Outreach

All marketing and outreach must be honest, transparent, and respectful:

  • Be truthful: All statements about products and the program must be accurate and verifiable
  • Disclose your relationship: Clearly identify that you are a Scentwork member who earns rewards from sales
  • No spam: Do not send unsolicited bulk messages or repeatedly contact people who have not expressed interest
  • No misrepresentation: Do not impersonate Scentwork or claim official affiliation beyond being a member
  • No false urgency: Do not create fake scarcity or pressure tactics to force purchase decisions

Respect Opt-Outs

You must immediately honor all opt-out requests:

  • If someone asks to stop receiving communications, cease contact immediately
  • Respect STOP requests for SMS messages
  • Honor unsubscribe requests for emails
  • Do not re-contact people who have opted out through alternative channels

Social Media Guidelines

When sharing on social media:

  • Follow each platform's terms of service and advertising policies
  • Use appropriate hashtags like #ad, #sponsored, or #affiliate when required
  • Do not use Scentwork's trademarked logos or branding without permission
  • Do not create fake accounts or engagement
  • Be authentic and share your genuine experience with the products

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Marketing Code may result in:

  • Warning and required corrective action
  • Temporary suspension of reward payments
  • Forfeiture of pending rewards
  • Permanent termination from the Scentwork program
  • Legal action for egregious violations
